Wow! I know someone EXACTLY like this, sadly. She brought a colt home once because he had a "pretty face". He was only a couple months old and already had a hernia. Luckily someone talked her out of that one. Now she's talking about getting a yearling stallion for her daughter to train next year... yikes!
I bought a stud colt once from one of these idiots. I paid $50 for him back in the 70s. I trailered him to the vet, had him gelded, put 6 months of training on him and sold him for $1800. That was a lot of money back then. He was smart, trainable and sweet. His owner was a gold plated idiot who was going to get rich with her stallion.
OMG! I also watched another one about the horse vet. So funny! :)
