This is a short clip of the video that I was watching live during the fire out in Parker. What you can't see from this one, but I saw it on another clip, is that right next to the fireman and behind that building is a pen of goats, the fence on fire is the fence to their pen. The horse that was running loose was caught by a neighbor after the fire was knocked down. One fireman and a helicopter.

Wow, how scary! That poor horse, it must have been terrified. To be trapped with all that smoke blowing around it?
ReplyDeleteI am so glad they stopped the fire there! The horse looked calmer than I expected. I've seen cows get all panicked, running every which way, bug-eyed and drooling just because they got out of the fence and were being herded back in on a beautiful sunny day. I always suspected horses had more dignity. ;)
ReplyDeleteI thought the horse looked fairly calm too. I watched it live for about 20 minutes. He went and stood behind the fireman for a while, then went and stood behind the fire truck in the driveway for a while. He apparently had confidence that they would take care of it.
